Mental Health Boxing Program

OUR MISSION

We believe that quality health care should be inclusive. Everyone deserves access to mental health services and not be excluded due to their inability to pay. SNIWWOC is focused on delivering these services to the BIPOC community, free of charge. An essential part of building good mental health is exercise. One great way to build self-confidence, strength and blow off some steam is boxing!

In partnership with the Eastside Boxing Club, SNIWWOC is providing free boxing classes to low-income and racialized women in Vancouver, BC. An average boxing session ranges from $ 10 – $ 20 per session, which can be expensive for our clients. Participants in the program will receive access to Beginner, Intermediate, and Women's-only Boxing, Stretch, Core, Strength, and Conditioning. We are excited to provide a service that our community members have personally requested! BIPOC women deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations.
