Join SNIWWOC for a meaningful evening of remembrance, reflection, and community care as we come together to honour Truth & Reconciliation.

This gathering creates space to come together through connection, storytelling, and collective healing as we recognize the ongoing impacts of colonial violence and honour the lives, families, and communities affected. This evening will feature powerful conversations, storytelling, and opportunities for participants to connect with one another.

We invite those who are part of the community, as well as allies who are willing to support, to use this time to listen and reflect on what efforts can be made towards meaningful reconciliation.

By coming together as a community, we will hold space for remembrance while strengthening our commitment to reconciliation and action. The evening will be guided by local Elder Aldeen Mason, with opportunities for meaningful conversations and shared learning. A bannock dinner will also be provided.

Please note that our office is accessible only by a staircase. There is no elevator or step-free access to the event space.
