RADICAL REST & RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH GAGAN.

RADICAL REST & RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH GAGAN.

Using yogic tools such as the breath (pranayama), movement (asana), and meditation, we will explore:

🤎 Creating space within body and mind

🤎 Building resilience through balancing our nervous system

🤎 Deep rest and relaxation

This class will take place at Ajna Yoga Studio on Thursday June 8th from 6-7:30pm PST.

More about Gagan:

After practicing for almost 20 years and not seeing much of herself reflected in studios or western yoga culture, Gagan began her teacher training in therapeutic and trauma-informed yoga in 2017 with a vision to share yoga where people already gather, and to help make yoga more accessible to all bodies. Gagan has facilitated yoga in transition houses, with newcomer groups and frontline workers. Her approach is gentle and emphasizes choice and options to help foster safety and accessibility. Her practice is influenced by her family Sikh faith and culture, Buddhist teachings, and social justice. She is also a co-founder of Sweet Refuge, a peer-led IBPOC mindfulness meditation group and a co-facilitator of Yoga Outeach's BIPOC Core Training Program.

This special yoga class will take place at AJNA YOGA located in Oak Bay. (209-2250 Oak Bay Ave, Victoria, BC V8R 1G5)
