Restoring Safety in the Body: Everyday Practices for Balance & Healing

Join us for a supportive and grounding online counselling session focused on restoring safety and balance within the body. This somatic-focused workshop will explore how racialized stress, discrimination and invisible labor can impact the nervous system, and how we can begin to gently shift from survival mode toward steadiness and resilience.

Through guided reflection and learned practices, participants will gain accessible strategies to reconnect with calm, strengthen inner safety, and support everyday wellbeing.

The group will be facilitated by Ola Abugharbiyeh, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Ola brings a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, drawing from modalities such as EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and experiential therapies. Her work centres on resilience, collaboration, and creating safety for healing and growth.
