SNIWWOC invites you to an evening of cultural celebration and community gathering.

The 2025 Truth & Reconciliation event will be held on September 30th, from 6 pm - 8 pm PDT, located at the Kanteen at Kwench Club in Victoria, BC. (Look for the yellow doorway!)

This event honours Truth and Reconciliation Day by creating space to reflect on the past and envision a future shaped by healing. This event will highlight the significance of Indigenous textile arts as powerful expressions of heritage and identity, featuring insights from community members and artists.

We will hear from speakers Jayce Henry, Beryl Parke, and Aldeen Mason, who will share their experiences and artistic practices.

A buffet-style dinner will be served for everyone to enjoy.

Through storytelling, textile art, and shared conversation, this gathering fosters connection, honours resilience, and strengthens community bonds. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
