#BlackLivesMatter: A Virtual Town Hall

JOIN MEMBERS OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY AS WE DISCUSS A HOLISTIC LOOK AT WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE FOR BLACK LIVES TO MATTER IN OUR CITY (POLICING, HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, SPIRITUALITY, ETC).

This is a series of virtual town hall meetings to discuss the ongoing systemic discrimination of black people, and what this looks like in the local context. The discussion will be hosted by Yamila Franco Pena.

This online event will be held live, Monday, June 8 at 7PM. The discussion, which will include community leaders and residents, will be hosted on Zoom and also livestreamed on Facebook.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the event, but you’re welcome to email questions in advance to info@sniwwoc.ca.
